These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SaaS platform Astra Crew (“Platform”), operated by Astra Crew s.r.o., a company incorporated under the laws of the Czech Republic, Company ID 24751286, with its registered office at Na Folimance 2155/15, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic (hereinafter “Astra Crew”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using our Platform, you (“User”, “Seafarer”, “Employer” or “Agency”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
“Platform” means the Astra Crew SaaS recruitment software and related services.
“User” means any person or entity using the Platform, including Seafarers, Employers, and Agencies.
“Seafarer” means an individual seeking employment opportunities via the Platform.
“Employer” or “Agency” means a company, shipowner, or crewing agency posting vacancies or seeking candidates.
“Paid Services” means subscription-based or fee-based features offered via the Platform.
“Personal Data” has the meaning set under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
Astra Crew provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) recruitment platform that connects Seafarers with Employers/Agencies.
We act as a digital intermediary only. We do not employ seafarers directly, do not guarantee employment, and are not responsible for the accuracy of job postings.
Users must be at least 18 years old.
Users must provide accurate and truthful information.
Employers/Agencies must comply with applicable maritime and labor laws in their jurisdictions.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings.
Seafarers are responsible for the accuracy of their CVs, certificates, and uploaded documents.
Astra Crew may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
Some services are free, while others require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Payments are processed by third-party providers; applicable taxes may be added.
Refunds are not provided except where required by law.
Astra Crew processes Personal Data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and other applicable laws.
Data subjects have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of their data.
Data may be transferred outside the EEA under lawful mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
In case of a data breach, Astra Crew will notify affected users without undue delay.

For B2B clients, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request.
By posting or uploading content (including CVs, photos, certificates, job descriptions), you grant Astra Crew a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content on the Platform for the purpose of providing the Services.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
Users may not:
Provide false or misleading information.
Post discriminatory, illegal, or fraudulent job offers.
Infringe intellectual property rights of others.
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the Platform.
All trademarks, logos, software, and content on the Platform are the property of Astra Crew s.r.o. or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purposes only.
The Platform may integrate services such as payment processors or verification providers. Astra Crew is not responsible for the availability, performance, or accuracy of third-party services. Users must comply with the terms of those providers.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Astra Crew does not warrant that:
The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free,
Job postings are accurate or complete,
Employment will be secured through the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astra Crew’s aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by the User during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Users agree to indemnify and hold Astra Crew, its employees, and affiliates harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Violation of these Terms,
Violation of laws or third-party rights,
Misuse of the Platform.
Astra Crew may suspend or terminate access to the Platform, with or without notice, in case of violations. Upon termination, certain provisions (Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability) shall survive.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or governmental actions.

Notices to Users will be sent to the email address associated with their account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
These Terms are written in English. If translated, the English version shall prevail.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
